Oregon®
MultiCut™ is the special purpose chisel chain intended for
use by professional woodcutters who work in tough, dirty or
abrasive conditions. In sandy areas, fire-damaged forests
or other situations likely to damage normal chain.Oregon®
MultiCut™ gets the job done while costing substantially less
than carbide chains. Available both in 3/8" pitch and .325"
pitch chains. NOTE: Oregon® recommends using a machine grinder
whenever possible to get the best performance from MultiCut™
chain.
- MultiCut™ chain is specially built to cut effectively in extremely dirty, abrasive conditions
- Blued Cutters provide superior corrosion
resistance and improved strength
- “X” grind – Enhanced grind geometry significantly improves out-of-box sharpness with substantial speed improvement in boring and bias (undercut) modes

25AP (1/4" Pitch,
MICRO-CHISEL®)
|
Smoothness combined
with high cutting performance makes this a versatile member
of the OREGON® chain family. 25AP is the replacement chain
for small imported saws originally equipped with 1/4" pitch
chain.
- Micro-Chisel® cutters have small-radius working
corners that cut fast and are easy to sharpen
- Small size and light weight make 25AP easy to use and
highly maneuverable

(Ripping Chains)
|
These chains feature a special factory grind for making
dimensional boards and planks from larger timbers by cutting
parallel to the wood grain or "ripping". Standard chassis
and cutter are used. Cutter grind is the only difference
from standard chains. This chain type is used in sawmills
and is not recommended for hand-held use.
- Standard chassis and cutter parts are used; cutter grind
is the only difference from standard chains
- For use on chain-type sawmills; not recommended for
hand-held use
- LubriLink™ tie straps help keep oil where it's needed
- on the chain

Replacement saw chains should be selected with a view toward
the needs,
training and skill of the intended user.
